Honestly, I was expecting Bart to make an appearance and there was a sideways reference to one of Tommy's sisters leading up to this, but hey, I'm not complaining.

I'm thinking about it this way, we get what's basically a pretty standard, yet special show. We get completely uncensored content. Then, we get Top Dog and a fucking hammered Charo for like an hour. Tommy either missed it or just glossed over it because at some point he says to MommyTina, "That was only like a glass and a half of wine." What he left out was earlier on Charo said to him that she'd already had a glass of white, the second glass got spilled, then she switched to red and she'd also had a glass of red before they started talking. Still, that's not a whole lot of booze but she's a tiny elderly woman.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not shitting on her for being hammered. In fact, I say fuck it, if you make it to 75 you can do heroin for all I care. You've made it. It also makes me wonder how much stuff you miss in the moment when you're performing. I'm a visual artist not a performance artist so it's my job to notice visual and situational nuance and I have the luxury of time to do it.

Anyway, bottom line, eleven bucks for three hours of genuine entertainment and I don't have to leave my couch? On top to that both Tommy and Tina still need to pay their bills. On top of that if movie theaters were open and I went to see a three hour long Lord of the Rings movie it would cost me upwards of 40 dollars? This was totally worth it on a Saturday morning. Also, my face still kinda hurts from laughing.
