Whenever I watch anything by Greg Weisman, i get a build up, a story complex with literature embedded into it. you never realize that it was from a cartoon, as a child in Iran, we used to get signals from certain networks of gargoyles. At first, at that time, i was apprehensive, thinking it had more to do with hunchback of notredame than anything else but greg and his team catches you. you think its just a story but there is history in it, there is literature. with the gargoyles you hear european history, mythology, shakespear and it makes you interested to learn more of these. Now greg brings us charles dickens and i hope this makes kids interested in the classics as I was with Puck, with Macbeth after watching a few episodes of gargoyles. Kudos Greg, make this generation interested in the classics
