Look, I am not even talking about animated superhero shows, I am talking about the greatest series of all time in any genre, live action or animated.

First of all, there are not that many shows out there that do an amazing job of being episodical vs serialized. Most shows are either completely seriliazed or like most sitcoms mostly episodical. They are some shows in the late 2000s that did a good job at this balance but they are rare, like Fringe, Person of interest, Maybe lost. However, if you look at greg weisman's works, they all have this balance in common. Gargoyls, spectacular spiderman and young justice all have amazing balance between serialized and episodical.

When I was a kid I always thought that batman the animated series was the greatest superhero animation. But with rewatching yj Im startin to think I like young justice more. Yes the btas animation is way more artistic and unique but the character designs of young justice is way more appealing to me. Also those seasonal archs that yj has is god like and btas lacks anything like that(not that thats a bad thing, its just that I prefer shows that have seasonal archs)

Genre wise: I am always a fan of stealthy covert missions, and rarely I ever see shows or movies do stealth. I only find stealth in video games. Mission impossible or other spy movie or shows tend to be more of heist nature than covert infiltration. Yet, young justice has some of the coolest covert missions (mostly in season 1 and 2) and they have such good spy tropes in them. I have watched so many spy series like The americans or slow horse but non of them are able to thrill me like young justice.

Its really weird to say young justice is the greatest show of all time, when people don't even mention it when talking about superhero animated shows sometime. However, I strongly believe that it is the best show ever made, better that Got better than breaking bad, better than sopranos.
