Hello, I am 16 years old and I have to write a paper for my theology class. I go to a relatively conservative Catholic school in middle America, and I am one of very few non-religious people. Anyway, we were assigned a paper where we had to state our views on one of the Catholic Church's social teachings. My thesis for the paper is that "The Catholic Church teaching on the rights of homosexuals is flawed, outdated, and helps to promote a culture of prejudice." For those who dont know, the actual church teaching is that its alright to be gay, as long as you don't act upon it. Any help I could get in defending my position would be greatly appreciated.
TL;DR I have to write a school paper about why the Catholic Church is wrong about homosexuality, can you help? EDIT Fixed a grammar error
