Recommendations for places who will accept entry-level undergrad students in mental health
Post Body

So I'm over in the EUP, graduating from LSSU in May. I originally wanted to leave the UP and start elsewhere, but I haven't gotten any interview replies so far. I've also been advised by several people at this point that starting my career up here is a good choice since there's more opportunities for growth.

I want to go to grad school in a couple years to get my PhD in forensic psychology, so ideally I'd like to work with inmates or parolees. Problem is is I don't really know of any places with that population that I could start at up here. I'm also willing to work with juveniles. And if there's nothing then I just really want to start working with a reputable and established mental health organization.

Over on this side, I know there is the Sault Tribe, Hiawatha Behavioral Health, and GLRC. I also know about Pathways and Copper Country CMH, but beyond that I'm at a loss. Do any of you have recommendations for places that might accept a fresh fish like me? I am willing to relocate anywhere in the UP.
