So, I’ve been having a lot of pain and issues with my body. I work two jobs and that’s taken a toll on me slowly. I’m also a diabetic and suffer of mild diabetic neuropathy. I want to start doing yoga (even if it’s ten minutes a day) to try and get more active (despite physical demanding jobs). I am so stiff and I want to lose weight to continue improving my diabetes. I’ve improved it a lot this year (was at 11.6, down to 7.0 a1c) and lost a nice chunk of weight (like 15-20 lbs).
However, I am more interested in doing eastern Yoga. Anyone know of any beginner yoga videos of eastern yogis? And good books on yoga practices, fundamentals etc.
Thank you!
