Tips on reducing slipperiness of manduka eko superlite mat
Post Body

I know this question has been posted here a few times before, but they're all quite old and I Was wondering if anyone has had any breakthroughs?

I got the eko superlite a few days ago because I kept reading about how grippy it (supposedly) is, and at the beginning of my practice I was impressed, but but about ten minutes in and downward dog was a nightmare, My hands were slipping so much. I just put my yoga towel down under my hands.

I saw another user said that they think that doing a salt water wash of the mat made it even more slippery, and that leaving in the sun can make it more grippy, but that's because it's breaking down the rubber...

Has anyone who found this mat slippy got any tips on how to make the grip better? If I have to bring a yoga towel with me as well then it really reduces the whole point of this being a travel mat.

Thanks!
