So when I started yoga during the pandemic (probably 24/25) my feet would never ever get pins and needles whilst in cross legged position. And my hands would never suddenly lose circulation depending on the pose.
Now every single session (28 soon to be 29) I struggle at the beginning of practice because of the cross legged position I tend to start in. My hands also get tingly in some positions and I need to bring them to my chest to bring the blood back.
Is this just age? How can I improve this and stop this from occurring? Do you think it will go away the longer I go without cigarettes and with more yoga practices?
Why? Just curious what you think is a concern? My heart?

I'm exploring a potential RA diagnosis with the doctor, neuropathy is a common symptom. At 28 I'm wondering if it's due to excessive alcohol but I doubt it as I feel im too young for that.
It all just makes yoga harder to do. Thankfully I've been practicing for 3 years and can do it self led which can help ke avoid the positions that cause it but yeah, a bummer.
