So I just started and I’m super confused. I’m a long-time checkbook balancer to the penny, I get the envelope system philosophy, I understand that I’m not budgeting money until I actually get it, I get that every dollar has a job. I watched several beginner videos. I’m still so confused.
It looks like I don’t have enough for my mortgage (comes out tomorrow) even though I do have enough money right now in my bank account. Did it miss a credit/deposit in the past week? What the frick, man. I want to stick it out and see what happens, but what I’m seeing in the app makes zero sense right now. :/
Update: I think I just needed a little YNAB therapy, so thank you to everyone telling me to be patient and to everyone giving me hints. I found two credits that didn’t post, so I’m nearly balanced. And I’m trying to chilllllll.
