I had to freeze my debit card and it’s really throwing off my budgeting
Post Body

Due to suspicious activity on my account, I had to freeze my debit card and will have to wait 15 days to order a new one. So far any purchases and bills, I have to transfer money to a separate account that I have a debit card with. The transfers between accounts take about 3-4 days and it’s just adding an extra layer of confusion and complicating my budgeting. Any advise on how to proceed for the next few weeks?

this account should be in your budget so you can accurately reflect the transactions that are happening between these two accounts. it’s the only way to fix the budgeting “issues” you’re having.

you can just create a savings category if you want it to accurately reflect how much money is in it. i put a 🔒lock emoji next to categories that i can’t touch.
