So I finally made it to Yakuza Kiwami 2 after playing the entire series (I decided to leave YK2 for last bc it was the last developed in Kiryu's saga). I'm getting a bit sad to think this is the last original story I'll be playing as Kiryu but I have Judgement to look forward to.
My question is should I be getting my hopes up or will Judgement be dissapointing?
I actually didn't care much for Y4 and Y5 except for Kiryu and Akiyama (not a huge amount but I enjoyed him in 4 a lot more than the other 2), I didn't like the other characters or their stories (just my personal opinion btw). So I'm worried that my love for the series is mostly focused on Kiryu.
But I did love playing as Majima in Y0 so it isn't like I can only like him. I'm also excited to finally get English audio! And each game in the dragon engine feels great.
So is Judgement a good game with a compelling and crazy story with a likable protagonist? Or am I in for Yakuza lite?
