Yakuza 5 Help: Is there a way to deal with the anti aliasing and graphical pop-in?

I'm aware this is an older game but the anti aliasing lines/shimmering effects are so glaring and annoying, which were awful in yakuza 4 as well. Is there anything that can help with this? If there's any settings to use in nvidia control panel please let me know, I'm not too well adversed with this. On another note, why does the game give you a 144 frame rate option but always go to 60?
