Hi, I volunteer in a community computer room, so the users aren't the tech-savviest. One of my frequent users is a secret shopper who uses her Yahoo email to send herself photos of her receipts to submit for reimbursement.
The problem is that these images, which are in .jpg format, show up with a .jfif extension when saved from Yahoo mail to the computer running Windows 10. The website she needs to upload them to doesn't recognize that extension. The file format is the same as .jpg, and a simple <F2> and rename is a solution, but it's not a good solution for her.
This website says it's a Registry setting, but when I went into the registry, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > MIME > Database > Content Type > image/jpeg is already set to .jpg.
Does anyone have any solutions?
