Hello! I’m a relatively new fan of yaeklokre and am a MASSIVE fan of everything fantasy, so wanted to ask about the meadowlark setting that’s been created, since I can’t seem to find and definitive collection of all the lore, so, questions! Woo!

1. General era? At least in terms of of vibes, seems vaguely medieval

2. The singers, minstrels? I’m a little unclear on that bit, but, regardless, they seem almost.. fey-like, does that have any basis in “fact”?

3. Meadowlark seems to be an almost entirely rural setting, is that just cause of the vibe given off by the songs, or is it because that’s pretty much the whole world? whatever that may entail

4. Magic is totally DEFINITELY a thing in meadowlark, right?

Other than these kinds of questions, I assume it’s a mostly generic rustic fantasy setting, with of course its own quirks courtesy of the lovely creator, I love to dig deep in these kinds of settings, so I’m happy to be able to sink my teeth into a new world
