From .3 to 1.2 in 48 hours - is this how being keto adapted works?
Post Body

A few days ago, I abruptly realized I hadn't had any potassium in days and wasn't dying (or totally out of it) and so I hurriedly checked my blood with my ketone blood meter. .3. Crap! I was out of ketosis! Barely, according to the interwebs, but still!

I was a little surprised because I didn't feel shitty, I wasn't in horrible pain, and mentally I felt great too (no woolly brain fog). But I *was* out of ketosis, if even barely, so I decided to do a few days of almost entirely meats and fats (if I go out of keto, it's from too much broccoli, not cheat meals/snacks).

48 hours later, I test again and I'm at 1.2! I'm kind of stunned and assumed that I'd need more time to get that far back in. Has anybody else had this experience? I've been keto since March 1 2017, and I've been knocked out only a few times that I know of for certain. Knowing it's that easy to get back in now certainly is comforting, if I go a little heavy on the broccoli.
