Just started a week ago and OMG the side effects
Post Body

I started going on 100g protein, 30g carbs, and 1500 calories in one meal (with occasional late night noshing on some olives or pumpkin seeds and coffee without sugar but 2 Tbsp creamer) I haven't kept perfect to my macros. I don't even know how to measure 100g of anything.... so there's that.

Basically, I look up the the carb grams and keep to that...and just use less protein. I have added plenty of fat to my diet. I can usually keep it to one meal and a small snack...not perfect but I am working on it.

I am diabetic. My doctor put me on this. I am trying really hard to do a good job as my A1c was 10.2 and insulin is the only thing left if this doesn't work.

I have had some problems. First, I am not allowed ot eat before dinner, but I have found that I get dizzy, hot flashes, racing heart, weak, and generally can't walk very well due to this before dinner. Would a cup of coffee with half and half be ok before dinner to help?

Also how long does this last? I heard about 2 weeks, but I am in a week and my God, I about fainted.

Also net carbs or total carbs?

I was doing total carbs, but I read that's wrong...

help me get through this so I don't have to go on insulin please. Help me perfect it so I can be healthy again. Give me hope that I won't feel like death forever.

Also how do you guys even exercise on this diet, I feel like I'm about to die walking to the door. I never felt that bad before.
