The Cheesecake Factory makes some low-carb, sugar-free cheesecake which I've had multiple times. I invited my best friend over for dinner on Sunday night and had cooked us a keto meal, chicken alfredo and zucchini noodles. She, trying to be nice, brought my SO and I each a slice of low-carb cheesecake. She definitely ordered it correctly. The receipt was still in the bag.

I've had it before, and disliked the crust as it has nuts in it, but enjoyed the cheesecake itself. I was really excited as cheesecake is my favorite thing in the world. I opened my container and dug my fork in.

The second it touched my tongue, I knew it was wrong. It was so, so, so freaking good. The crust had no nuts, totally graham cracker. I forced myself to stop eating. My SO, who has continuously strayed from Keto, continued to eat his cheesecake. I'm trying very hard because I was diagnosed as T2D with PCOS a week before I started Keto on my five year anniversary with my much healthier, fit SO. I try not to let his ability to eat what he wants in moderation bother me but this was almost killer.

Still. I didn't eat it. I called the Cheesecake Factory and spoke to the manager who, when I mentioned the issue, said he knew there would be a call about it because their inventory was off. They're sending me (us, though, as I plan on taking said best friend for being amazing) a $50 giftcard to make up for the experience.
