Calorie Deficit: I feel awful!
Post Body

Hey XxFitness!

Edit: Thanks for your help everyone! I am going to start eating 1650 a day and see how I feel-and go up if I feel the need to after that.

I have been lifting weights consistently for about 12 weeks now. After the holiday season where I ate whatever I wanted, I gained back 5 of the 10 pounds I lost over my journey. I hadn't been counting calories before, but I took this weight gain as a sign to start doing so.

I am about 5'9" and weigh 158lbs. I don't really know what my goal is- maybe around a 20lb loss.

I set a goal of eating 1200 a day, but most days I eat around 1500. My macros seem to be around 100g of protein, 80-200g of carbs, and 40-70g of fat. I eat a vegetarian diet with the ocassional fish. Ideally I would want to get my protein and fat counts up and my carbs down. I am working on the strong curves GG program 3-4x a week and taking barre, yoga, and aerial classes 1-2x a week.

I am writing to ask what to do about feeling absolutely awful! I feel weak, I cannot lift as heavy, and I am perpetually grumpy. It's been this way about a week. Does it get better? Am I doing this wrong?

Let me know if you have any advice!
