So I just recently had my first ever PT session, and unfortunately I seemed to walk away with more questions than I had going in. For one, I asked about power cleans and I was told that I should wait until I had more shoulder/back strength. Does anyone here know what level I need to be at (whether it be in a particular lift) before I should give cleans a try?
Also, is it recommended that exercises, including barbell squats, should be done with reps of 10? I've seen a programs recommend 8 for accessories and 5 for squats, so I'm not exactly sure on the best number of reps for a set.
Any advice at all would be much appreciated!
