Hi all!
I'm a retired veteran that...ahh kinda took 5 years off of working out and now I'm back to square one with a lot of things. Luckily I have a decade of experience to catch me up. One of the things I'm running into is recovery time since, well, I'm older. Most of it I can mitigate but one thing that absolutely is ruining me is squats.
I've never been the best at squats even at my target weight (180lb) and now that I'm 290lb, its a lot harder. But I did 4 sets of 10 with just the bar on Monday and I'm still limping around the house come Wednesday, when I'm suppose to be doing a cardio workout with yoga on the side!
How do I either train up to do squats or mitigate the recovery time on squats? Anything helps!
Thank you <3
