Why don't people like the jim lee era?

I'm currently 8 issues deep into it, and I'm absolutely loving it. An amazing opening storyline showcasing magnetos return to his usual philosophy, a great wolverine past arc and now bishop is here. I've not enjoyed reading x men this much since inferno, really hated that whole era of the team being scattered. But so many people seem to dislike this era of x men, why is that?
