The Avengers are heroic, no doubt, but they operate in a chain of command. They wait for permission to make decisions.

I'm reading X-men Red and I am reminded how the Avengers are willing to aid the X-men whenever they can. I've seen frames where Cap admires Cyclops, Storm, Jean, Beast, and other X-men affiliates. Captain America is the face of heroism for the marvel universe. I can't think of a single person on Earth who commands more respect than The Captain does. And he admires the X-men for their willingness to sacrifice themselves for the greater good.

In a world of heroes, it's always refreshing to see respect amongst the elites.
