So i recently decided to try getting back into comics. On a whim I bought House of X and now I'm hungry for more. Krakoa felt like the perfect jumping on point because all the cooler more obscure mutants have a reason to appear.

I have read Age of Apocalypse, HoX, AvX, and Schism . Enjoyed AoA but couldn't get over how 90's it was. Hated AvX but I do like Hope Summers. Don't even remember Schism.

I always thought Generation X had the coolest powers but I've never actually read them outside of AoA. I also loved Wolverine and the X-Men but never got past the first season of Evolution.

So basically what I'm asking is, where do I go from here? I currently have my eye on X of Swords. Also, is there anything prior to HoX that would be good to read before diving deeper?

I prefer to get the paperback omnibus but that can get expensive fast, I've heard Marvel Unlimited is good though? I'm not above looking for used copies either.
