Hi everyone, pseudopseudonym here! Welcome to the first issue of Dogeparty Pulse, a weekly update about Dogeparty and related developments. Want to know what is going on behind the scenes? You asked for more clarity and transparency, and you got it!
Dogeparty core development update
This week we begin with a short update from lead Dogeparty developer Lars Kluge (/u/aekym), about the much discussed wallet balance display issue, as seen in this GitHub ticket. A temporary fix has been issued that should solve the DOGE display, and an ultimate fix is forthcoming. There may still be some issues with XDP balances which we hope to resolve shortly. Additionally, the distributed exchange which will allow people to exchange assets right inside of the Dogeparty wallet is being worked on and should be ready shortly after we have sorted out issues with wallets.
J-Dog’s upcoming projects
Next up, J-Dog, creator of dogepartychain.info, is working on a lot of cool upcoming Dogeparty projects. There’s an asset registration service that allows anyone to register a Dogeparty asset. It’s simple: pay just $5 in BTC/LTC/DOGE, and get the asset delivered straight to a Dogeparty wallet.
There’s an asset enhancement service to allow anyone to instantly get a website up and running where they can market their Dogeparty asset, project, charity, etc. Users get a custom JSON file and a custom subdomain.
There’s an asset transfer/escrow service allowing buying, selling and negotiation of assets between parties privately. Secure, anonymous funds are escrowed until both parties are happy.
And finally, there’s a broadcast enhancement service where anyone can instantly get a website up and running with extended information about the broadcast. All of the services will be hosted under a single site. When asked about the timeline, J-Dog replied, “Realistically I think we are about 30 days off from public release. I'll be posting updates to our Twitter feeds at: https://twitter.com/dogepartychain and https://twitter.com/dogepartyassets. Anyone who wants to get in contact with me can either find me on the Dogeparty Skype chat or by email at [email protected].
