Post Body

Hey everyone big time fan of a lot of you devs here and thought I would try to get started with xcom modding myself. I do seem to have run into a bit of a wall though because my models that Ive imported into the xcom 2 editor show up in the package I created for them, but they dont actually animate. I selected the AS_Soldier animation set and set the meshes to my models peices, but my mesh just remains stationary. I made sure to size the model down to where it was the same size as the default skeletal xcom2 mesh and in the same default position in blender.

some quick info. The model Im using is a redhood model off of sfmlab which came already rigged and weight painted. Ive tried deleting the rig the model came with and making my own rig and weight painting the mesh, but when I do that when I try to import the .fbx files into the editor it keeps giving me an import failed error in the editor.

If anyone can point me in the right direction id really appreciate it.
