No game should be easier on Hard than on Normal, and yet, it happened to me.
Post Body

Skydrift Infinity, for reference.

I have been playing this game since the day it came out, having played it, and loved it, on 360. I had some friends over Sunday night, and I wanted them to try it. So, we played a few of the events that I hadn’t completed yet, and everyone had a blast. We get to Stage 6, Wrecks - Speed Race. We took turns for about 4-5 hours, maybe longer, and not a single one of us could place above 3rd. We are all pretty good at the game, and pretty good at arcade style racing games in general. Two of us are expert level players at Mario Kart. The same group was over last night, so we fired it up again, and played for another 2-3 hours. Same results, no one could place above 3rd. So, as I was changing the plane for my turn, I decided I was going to try something new, so I turned the difficulty to hard (we had been playing on normal). First try, I finished first. The next person wanted to try, placed first. A third friend tried, placed second.

So, in summary, what the actual hell?! The event was legit impossible on normal, but three of us placed better on hard than any of us could on normal. Anyone have any theories?
