Hey guys! So, the HDMI port of my tv broke off. I bought an VGA to HDMI converter cable, connected this to the xbox and tv. Everything worked fine. Sometimes the tv seemed too small for the resolution, the only thing i had to do was put the resolution from 1080p to 720p and then it was working fine.
Yesterday, i turned on my xbox, just to see that the resolution on my tv was really really bad. I checked the xbox settings, and the only res option was 640x480 pixels, which looks horrible! Canβt even read the text. Before, the only options available in xbox settings were 720 or 1080, now the only option is 640.
Well, i googled, and found out that the max resolution of VGA cables is 650x480p.... this does not make sense at all to me. How was i able to play on 720 or 1080p for months, with my VGA cable, and now suddenly not anymore??
Any advice would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance :)
