Controller won’t sync and won’t stay on for more than 3 seconds

I plugged the controller in on my windows laptop, I played with it fine for a couple hours. I tried to hook it up with Bluetooth and it wouldnt connect so I said fuck it and hooked it back up with the micro usb. Well when I did that it turned on then shut off in 3 seconds. The computer said all the drivers are up to date and says it’s working just fine in device manager. I tried to re sync it with my Xbox and it won’t let me connect to it either. I tried to connect it with the micro usb to it as well, same thing happened, it worked for 3-4 seconds before turning off. I have tried everything and I’m stumped
