[Tech] Controller sometimes won't sync unless I hard restart my Xbox

Anybody else have this problem? I have my Xbox on the quick start mode. Every now and then my controller decides to act up and not want to sync to my Xbox. I'll turn the controller on, and the Xbox won't turn on. So I turn the Xbox on with voice commands and try to sync the controller 1-3 times, and it never syncs. Then finally I will restart my Xbox and viola, controller magically decides to sync and turn on the Xbox right away.

This happens like every few months. It's fine for a bit, then it does this for a few weeks to a month. Does anyone else have this problem? Its a Day One Xbox, I dunno if maybe it has something to do with that.
