I have been through 3 X1s in the past month. My original fried and I sent it in for repairs. Two weeks later, I received the replacement: DOA. Sent it right back out. I received my second replacement yesterday and I'm trying to connect to the internet wired and wireless) and its saying the Xbox has a hardware issue and needs to be sent back in.
I'm in disbelief. I call Xbox support up and we come up with a solution to take it to the MS store not to far from me and see if they'll trade it in for store credit towards a new one.
However, My brother plugs in the Ethernet cord in first then plugs in the Xbox and it somehow connects and starts updating. After that is done we try to connect it to the WiFi and that works too!
I'm happy that it works but I'm very wary. I don't want this one to crap out on me. So I'm asking, what should i do? I really don't have the cash to put towards a new one.
