Hello, i recently bought an Xbox One off Amazon, without looking into i noticed when it arrived it was the "Day One Edition" and when I attempted to play my game, I inserted the disc and the console made a kinda scratching/grinder noise, quickly I took out the game and it had 0 signs of damage on it, I was glad, so I restarted my Xbox tried again and same thing. My friend told me to maybe trade in the game as if that was the problem, I looked on Xbox Support and they said because it's the Day 1 edition, I will need to send it in for a repair. Now for my question, the general idea I got from Xbox support is, I ask for a repair, they send me a new one and charge $400 on my visa, when I receive the new Xbox, I send mine in with, then when repairs are done we switch consoles again. Is this correct? and if so how long do these things usually take, like I said I just bought the console and really want to play it but if it takes 3-5 weeks that just ruins the excitement I had for it.
Thanks for any help you guys can give me!
