[tech] A console bug makes me unplug my Xbox about twice a week.

So occasionally I will turn on my Xbox (3 months old) and none of the apps will work for me. When I click on them nothing happens and if I try voice commands it just sends them to the centre screen but doesn't load them. This never happens with games, only with apps like Trueachievements, Skype and Youtube. When I try logging out it freezes, when I try turning my Xbox off the screen shows that it's off but there's still a light on the Kinnect, console and controller. The only way to get it out of this state is to turn the power supply off. When I turn it on again everything is fine but this can't be a normal thing. Does anyone have any ideas how to stop this?
