Hello everybody. I recently purchased a pre-owned Xbox One X console from another person off of a buying/selling app, but when I powered the console on, I realized that they had not factory reset the console, so their user accounts and data is still saved to the Xbox. This is my first Xbox I have owned since owning a 360 over ten years ago, so I was unaware of these “home associations” and I was going through the steps of resetting the console, when I encountered a message that unless I connect to a local network before resetting the Xbox, the “home associations” would not be be reset as well. So, am I able to remove this person’s user account and reset any “home association” that attached to my Xbox One X without having to be that person and log into I assume their Microsoft account or something to do so?
