front and back

I bought this a bit over 2 months ago. It was cheaper than usual for my country (46 dollars), and since I didn't have a wireless receiver for my computer yet, wired seemed like the way to go.

The controller has always felt a bit weird to me. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy, but it's way too sensitive when it shouldn't be, like in menus, and it seems to drift/not go back to center well. I never noticed that weird "For use with Usted ITE" thing in the back either until today, but googling it only yields one result in some Indonesian forum.

I'm wondering if there's any way to fix the issues with this controller, since I probably won't be able to get a new one, or if I should just suck it up and get a new one.
