Question regarding 360 power supplies

Hello, I am new to the xbox360 community and I recently purchased a used xbox 360 from Goodwill.

The unit had no power supply , controllers, accessories... so I bought a controller and also ordered a power supply from Amazon (3rd party). After a week of usage and some research I am now considering swapping my 3rd party power supply for an OEM one from ebay.

I would like to know if all power supplies for the xbox 360 have a fan built-in?

The 3rd party one feels very lightweight and the fan has this annoying hiss. For reference, I have an Xbox Slim (2010) that seems to require the Trinity style power socket (10.83 A).
