Thoughts on the lack of disk tray (xbox series s)
Post Body

What are everyone's thoughts on the new consoles?? I dont like how the series s will not have a disk tray. Correct me if I am wrong but Microsoft tried something similar when they were releasing the xbox one, where the disks you inserted to the console would only work for that specific console?

I am concerned how this will effect the video game distribution industry (EB Games, Gamestop etc.) We all know that the Microsoft store isn't the best with sales and deals with games. I feel that gamers who cannot afford the more expensive console will be disappointed with having to rely purely on game codes or the Microsoft store for content.

I also feel that xbox has done this to persuade gamers to lean towards the more expensive series X Console. Not sure exactly how i feel about this (along with playstation doing the same) but I guess this is the future of gaming
