Rii I7 and RPi Model B not playing nice
Post Body

Hi all,

I recently got myself a Rii Mini I7 remote to use with my RPi model B. I'm running OpenELEC 4.2.1.

http://www.riitek.com/product_Info.asp?id=96 I know it says Rii mini X2, but the remote looks identical.

Using the remote with my setup is generally a joy, except that the Home, Context Menu and Back buttons does respond as they should. The Home and Context Menu buttons does nothing at all, while the Back button only makes the cursor to "pop up".

I've tested the remote with my PC as well, which runs Linux Mint (fully up to date) and XBMC 13.2. On here all the buttons work, but the Back button still only does the "pop-up" trick.

Running "Keymap Editor" on the PC and copying that file over to the Pi, which also has the addon installed, does not change anything.

Here is the config file's contents. Sorry for the long line of code, but that is how the config file displays it.

<keymap><global><keyboard><key id="61570">left</key><key id="61571">right</key><key id="61568">up</key><key id="61569">down</key><key id="61572">pageup</key><key id="61573">pagedown</key><key id="61453">select</key><key id="61656">contextmenu</key><key id="61622">activatewindow(home)</key></keyboard></global></keymap>

First off, is this something related to the stripped down nature of OpenELEC or the RPi itself?

Secondly, has anyone else experienced this with the same, or similar remotes?

Any help would be appreciated.
