Hey guys I was curious what was the best quality mountain bike and cyclocross frames were during the 80’s and 90’s for steel frames?( not counting custom frame builds) I know so many of them are made of Chromoly which is great stuff. Maybe niche brands that were at the top in the 80’s/90’s and faded away? I know Marin,Yeti, Ritchey and Kona etc but I guess maybe something nicher? Just your takes on the S Tier steel bike frames and why? Thanks!
