With the considerable volatility in the crypto markets of late, the clamoring among merchants I've heard for a stablecoin solution that doesn't necessitate Coinbase Commerce reporting tax information and taking a healthy slice of a company's profitability is greatly of interest.

Announcement #1: One of such merchants likes the ability to hold their assets on xDAI's platform and swap it out for any number of ported ERC-20's. This is particularly useful for merchants that are also traders, which leads to the first big announcement of the week: We're Approved on Honeyswap.

What does this mean:

• Traders who see a large movement in any crypto listed on Honeyswap can use their RxDAI to scoop it up from Honeyswap, locking in profits. They can then cash it out for RxDAI, DAI, xDAI, or whatever fits their arbitrage thesis.
• Many thousands more users easily can find our project and join our liquidity pool.
• Building more income for LP holders that earn fees each time RxDAI is transacted on HoneySwap.

Announcement #2: One of our FinTech merchants transacting in RxDAI has white labeled one of their Visa-partnering FDIC institutions to offer RxDAI prepaid cards for those wishing to get fiat from the xDAI chain. The RxDAI card has arrived.

What does this mean:

• You'll be able to order electronic and physical Visa pre-paid cards for use with RxDAI sent to the DAO for burning.
  • Step 1: You go to our Aragon DAO & navigate to the finance section
  • Step 2: Send in RxDAI
  • Step 3: The DAO issues you the card in either physical or electronic form. The physical cards will be pressed and shipped for free for all RxDAI airdrop recipients.
• You can quickly and easily go from RxDAI into cash at your favorite supermarket, ATM, or to pay IRL bills.
• We'll take a slice from projects that offer FinTech solutions as their sole use case objective and hopefully add them to our community and trumpet our project, DAO's, and interesting use cases that benefit the community in the process.

Announcement #3: A large merchant push is afoot. We're working with a host of accounting firms, law firms, and e-tail companies to accept RxDAI as a sensible, simple, straight-forward stablecoin for utility in their international stores. The volume being transacted will be done with Honeyswap, affording further transaction volume to LP holders. More volume means a higher yearly ROI on staked RxDAI/xDAI.

While the volume is pretty scant, less than $100 per day, we are pushing to get this daily volume up into the four-figures and keep it there, sustained by the many sites that will make use of RxDAI as a stablecoin with which to transact commerce.
