EIP-1559 is coming to xDai

After successful Berlin HardFork activation, the team is now working hard to bring EIP-1559 to xDai. This EIP introduces a Base Fee for all blockchain transactions and will impact the whole xDai ecosystem.

Exact parameters and details are still being worked on, and important governance proposals will need to occur before the implementation. But we have prepared an overview of what you can expect once the EIP-1559 is implemented.
