I've decided to make an exception and watch tonight's Raw as it was in my area.
I'm trying to understand from a business perspective:
Why script your commentary? Why follow the same show format every week? Why push people fans don't care for, and ignore the ones fans do? Why are previous weekly superstars now 'special treats' reserved for PPVs? Why give superstars really stupid designs/costumes that look overproduced? Why are storylines so shallow and scarce? Why isn't kayfabe enforced? Why are mediocre stunts and events praised as noteworthy? Why is modern Wrestlemania worse than old episodes of Raw? Why is every episode's structure so rigid?
Can someone please explain to me what's going on in the mind of the executives? I'm surprised Fox and USA put up with this. Why would you purposefully produce garbage? Is someone behind the scenes just trolling us?
Honestly it's like the shows are becoming more and more like the old video games. Nothing out of the permanently set structure and system happens, and the commentary is so repetitive and cheesy.
