Why aren't more people concerned about everything going on right now?

With the Ukraine situation, the situation in the South China Sea, the Middle East, Putin, Trunp, Xi Jinping, I'm just wondering why we aren't seeing more concern from Mainstream Media, politicians, and intellectuals here in America at least. I just feel like people should be raising the alarms a little bit more than they are. Have we really all backed into the idea that it could never happen? Because it really is starting to look more and more like a realistic scenario. Any thoughts and evidence that we aren't headed for it?
