A very good friend of mines father was a Seabee in the pacific during WWII. He sent me these two photos and said his father took them while he was on an aircraft. I have seen a lot of bring back photographs from the war but I thought these two are really captivating and well taken. Whatever invasion or formation is going on here, itβs obviously very massive. It really puts into perspective when veteran enemy soldiers would say when the Americans were invading, they had ships stretched into every direction as far as the eye could see. Does anyone have any idea where and when these photos were taken? I was thinking the Philippines or maybe Okinawa.
