Apologies if this is not the right place ect. but at least you guys should be able to point me in the right direction. (it's most likely not the right place)
I'm in possession of a couple immaculate WW2 era GI US firearms (along with more internal parts than I have stocks). M1 Garand and M1 carbine. (Evidently my grandpa thought his small armory was more important than paying taxes) Both are genuine WW2 firearms. Stock markings and all. The carbine is a highwood stock without a bayonet slug. Both, all matching parts from the same factories they were produced in, respectively. He put a lot of effort into these. Over the years I've strived to maintain them for sentimental and practical/safety reasons.
While my grandpa went out of his way to assemble this ensemble I'm looking for more technical information for their maintenance. As in technical manuals. Such as TM9-1725. I have all necessary tools. Even the Armorer's tools that they need (seriously. My grandpa went alllllll out).
Would anyone here known where I can find more information about their maintenance?
