I decided I did not like the spoiler that was on my trunk and so I am replacing it. I went to take the current one off today and in doing so apparently pulled off some paint with the double sided tape. It's minor, but noticeable.
Without repainting or wrapping the whole trunk, what's a not too expensive way to fix this before I put the new spoiler on? I want to protect it from rust and the like.
Also, does anyone have any suggestions for this weird outline of the spoiler (in 1st pic) that seems to be leftover? Idk if it's tape residue or dirt or sun bleaching or what, but an hour of rubbing with automotive goo gone did not remove it.
