Next Reliability Mods: Fluidampr? Thicker Oil? Engine Mounts?
Post Body

Hey all,

I've currently got around 13k miles on a '22 VB that was etuned with Dmann for ETS Intake, ETS TMIC, Perrin inlet, Perrin mBPV, and IAG AOS.

I also installed Perrin Trans Mount, Perrin Pitch Stop, Perrin Diff Lockdown, and Whiteline Positive Shift Kit.

The oil I'm running currently is 0W-20 Motul Eco-Lite.

That said, I've had DAM drop to 0.5 a couple times, and after a spirited session (climbing the hill on the way to work), the engine just sounds angry. No lugging or anything like that.

Would a fluidampr help? Or changing to 0W-30/0W-40 oil? I'm in the PNW, so it's still a bit chilly, but warming up. I was thinking maybe upgrading to stiffer engine mounts would help as well, but not sure.

I understand all of this is subjective, but any input is appreciated. TIA!
