Hi! My son is a pretty young writer, and i kind of hate how he just goes with the flow with writing. He will come up with a new idea, plan it a little, write a load and then ask me to beta read it. It's always hot garbage so I tell him to come up with another idea and the cycle starts again. I really hate reading his writing because it legit makes me throw up, so I always just tell him to start a new story.
My son always tells me that writing for fun is a worthwhile hobby but he doesn't read his own shit. It's a waste of my time, and his. There is no way my idiot son will ever get published, Obviously, since Iโm older than him he should just listen to me. It's never once been a good storyline, and the prose is worse then game of thrones fan fiction where every character, even the women have giant monster cocks. I saw my son posted on Reddit asking if I am wrong and was met with lies. How do I tell him he should just give up without seeming like a bitch.
