"To write, you have to read," they all said. But reading, more than boring, is SLOW. I have sharpened my reading skills a lot, and yet, I can't finish a book in less than a day or two of reading without sleep, eating or drinking. And, more over, it's boring - I tried a lot of ways, like reading from the ending to the start or skipping every third word, but it's still long torture.
How could I ever be ready to write? I thought. This way, I knew, I will be a writer only in my tomb.
But then, I understood. One picture worth one thousand words, right? And a generic movie has 24 frames (pictures, for those of you who can't read) per second! That means, by watching a hour of a movie or netflix, you accually have read 86,400 words! Double the speed, binge Netflix for a day, and it's already more than 4 million words!
Stop wasting your time on reading. Watch movies! Cartoons! Shows! Everything counts! The higher fps, the higher value - so pick wisely! This way, in few days, you won't be needed to read anything anymore!
Good luck!
