So, I'm currently writing a semi-autobiographical novel. It comprises too many things to be specifically one thing. Now, the book itself isn't the problem.
Each time I finish a chapter I scream, "Yippie kayak, other buckets!" I don't know why I do it, but it's a reflex at this point. However, my boyfriend is becoming increasingly annoyed with this habit. We've temporarily moved to a studio apartment because of an issue with our previous place that the landlord is still sorting out. We're both working from home and it's getting to us. We both hate working out of cafés and libraries because of a reason I'm not allowed to talk about.
He is also a die hard fan of 'Die Hard', so he resents this catchphrase, which of course isn't the original. I can't stop blurting this out as much as I try and I really want to finish this book in the next two months. Thoughts?
