How to Organize a Rough Draft of an Article?
Post Body

Something I have noticed while reading articles is that they have a fee sections that I didn't put much thought to until now. For example, there sometimes are little descriptors to accompany images throughout the piece, and sometimes, such as with history magazines, there are what I refer to as "mini-articles" within the article itself (for example, the main article could be about Waterloo, and a mini-article Halfway into the piece can be a brief breakdown of the Armies involved).

What I'm curios is, is there a way to organize these in the rough draft stage of article writing? And if so, what is the general template to let people know that you're describing an image or writing a "mini-article" within the overall piece?
